We help people make sense of complex trauma and a wide range of stressful life events. That could be single event traumas, such as traffic accidents, natural disaster. Or it could be repeated traumatisation over a longer period of time, for example childhood abuse and neglect, sexual violence, bereavement, stalking, domestic violence and narcissistic abuse. We also treat occupational trauma for first responders, veterans, healthcare professionals, as well as prison and police personnel.
We can’t erase your memories but we can get to a place where the trauma stays in the past, you feel safe in the present and hopeful about the future.
The bad news is that therapy is hard work. It takes time, effort, and vulnerability. The good news is that a symptom-free life is possible. We use evidence-based therapies (CBT and EMDR) to get you there in the safest and most efficient way possible. No jargon, BS, or pseudo science.

Meet your psychologist
I’m the psychologist no one wants to need in their lives. But trauma happens and I have the experience and skills to get you through it.
Complex trauma is my specialism and I follow it wherever it shows up. So far it has lead me to prison, drug and alcohol, and rape crisis settings (amongst some others).
Let’s face it: Trauma is a fucker and healing is hard work. When you work with me you can expect sensitivity, humour, directness, and a heavy dose of swearing.
